Spinach Update

So the FDA has announced that it is now safe to eat fresh spinach so long as it’s grown outside of the three counties in California’s Salinas Valley: Santa Clara, Monterey and San Benito. According to the FDA, the industry is currently working on a way for consumers to know the exact origin of the spinach before purchasing it. Although the FDA as given the green light, I suspect it will take a little bit of time before people go rushing out to buy this leafy green again…
